Elppa is a world that was based fully on reason and logic, except for the warrior peoples who inhabit the north. Religion did not exist until TheCataclysm struck, an inexplicable, unprecendeted catastrophe. The energy known as ThePhenomenon mutated the common cold to become the mysterious blight known as TheVirus. Not much is commonly known about this mysterious mutation. It kills sixty percent of its victims, gives strange powers to thirty percent and the remaining ten percent became TheSansangre.
