Kongerige is a feudal kingdom. The dragon king resides in a central castle and oversees all of the land. The dragon-king has shape-shifting abilities, turning into a human when he finds it expedient.. He has a council of ten advisors from within court and if he proposes a change to the law, at least two of the advisors must approve. Given that he chooses his own advisors, it is something of a fail-safe, albeit tyrannical, system of favoritism and bureaucracy. Kongerige has a small standing army, mostly consisting of drafted citizens gifted with the highest magic.
