Lygnez: A land animal similar to a mole. It has hundreds of feelers on the end of its long nose. Its tongue is like that of an anteater's to catch insects with ease. The front two of its six legs are curved claws to scoop dirt easily, for these creatures burrow under the ground. The middle legs have many bumps on the bottom to grip the soil, allowing the Lygnez to turn around in a tight space. The last set of legs is small and hairy; they are designed to push the dirt away and help the small animal to run away quickly if needed. It has no eyes, big ears for better hearing, and a long flat tail. The tail is designed to pack down the dirt behind it. These animals live in packs of seven to twenty, and one can have only two babies at a time. Lifespan: 12 Lightenings (2 years).
