Storms, falling asteroids, and the unusually long light/dark cycle of Doegum

Write for 15 minutes about experiencing a storm, an asteroid incident, or on a character's reflections on the light/dark cycle.

Derrek Thompson

My name is Blosh, decendant of Morse. I was born just shy of land in The 4th Sea. When my parent divided, me and the other pieces of my predecessor were left to fend for ourselves in a particularly rough area on the ocean floor. Slowly we made our way across the sea, doing a magic act on the Fourth Sea circuit.
One day, in an area the air-dwellers had abandoned, a storm separated me and my comrades. I searched evry reef and cove, but there was no sign of them. Before I could continue searching, I felt my time coming. And these things can not be avoided. Now I shal divide, creating a new group of sea-dwellers, who will once again persue life and all it has to offer. I now take solace in the fact that my area of sea is much more calm than the area I come from. I, and the journey I have taken, will live on as a new group of fresh-faced sea-dwellers. And the decendants of Blosh shall do the same.
