This creature is found primarily in the Templum Mountains. They reach roughly eight inches long by adulthood, and are of reptilian ancestry. They formerly lived in only grassy lands, but during the ice age, were forced to retreat into the mountains. They had a very difficult time surviving in the mountains because of their cold blood, and for several years, were thought to have been extinct. They were rediscovered several years after the ice age ended; however their hard, scaly skin was now covered with spiky fur. These creatures still live in the mountains and survive primarily off of bugs and occasional plants. (By Madeline McCann? )
