The Golden Sheep is a bright and gorgeous ovid, with wool ranging from a tigery orange to pale yellow, and deep chestnut legs and face. Found primarily in the
Calidus Flatlands and the
Templum Mountains, these animals feed voraciously on any plant life they can find. Because of this, the sheep were once considered pests and killed on sight for devouring grain. The skins of dead sheep became the species' salvation, as there became a huge demand for sheep pelts and wool that could only be satisfied by raising large amounts of the animal for that purpose. Indeed, in the land surrounding
Nundinae there are now more domesticated sheep than wild ones in the entire known world. (By Miranda Severance)
