The Griffon is a medium-sized creature that likes to inhabit the grasslands between the Nundinae River and the Templum Mountains. A dark brown color, the Griffon blends into its environment very well. The Griffon is a solitary creature that feeds on the herds of wild Gold Sheep, also found in the region. Some Griffons have been domesticated by Venificus, where they are used for work, but also companionship. The Griffon is also equipped with razor-sharp talons in order to defend itself.
