The Peri Wolf abides in the
Templum Mountains. Its smaller size and brownish gray coat of coarse hair make it difficult to spot in a rocky landscape, despite the fact that they live and hunt in small packs. Their lithe bodies and long, muscular limbs allow them to move agily and quickly, while their long tail helps them maintain balance on steep slopes. Their razor sharp tetth make short work of whatever their mark may be, be it a small rodent or a Tractan.
A tough, leathery ridge allows them to stick their snouts under rocks and in crevaces to probe for small rodents and occassionally insects. Little is known about their mating rituals, as males becomes ferocious and impossible to observe during this period. As remarked in the unnames expeditionary journal, "Peri Wolves have raided the camp. We've lost ten men, only five of us remain. The excavation is fruitless. We won't find ore any further east." The Stealth of the Peri Wolf is commended by the blood spatter that covers the following and last paragraph of the journal. (By Taylor Hocutt)
